This conceptual work by Nate Stack honors twelve diverse modern and contemporary artists he admires. Using unusual materials to create soft sculpture that represent the artist's work, Stack constructs dimensional art that in color and perspective compliment each of the tweleve the artists' strength, and style. The six two-sided soft sculptures utilize six burlap shopping-size bags, a variety of colorful acrylic and wool yarn, acrylic paint, buttons, a feather, and magazine cutout images. The pieces are meant to hang from the ceiling, attached to a gold tone metal clothes hanger.
